Why I became a PI

My mom was scammed!

After I lost my husband early in 2017, I moved back to my Alabama hometown. My support system was there and my world had been shattered, so I needed them very much.
I ended up moving in with Mom until I could land a job. While I was there I noticed she was always talking on the telephone and texting a lot as well. Come to find out she was involved with someone who she believed was oil rig contractor.

He ended up taking her for thousands of dollars. I found out quite by accident. But once I found out about it, I tried to find out who he was. She shared his Facebook profile with me. I soon discovered that the man who scammed her was using a fake photos from a gay man in Argentina. I showed her all of he social media accounts where the scammer stole the pictures. She refused to comprehend.

I did my best to convince her and went even as far as going to the FBI field office and speaking with the special agent there. The special agent was very helpful and even took time out of his busy schedule to have a telephone conversation with her. Although he admonished her greatly she still did not want to change her ways. I moved out!

She still stays in communication with this scammer thinking that one day she will get her money back. I just hope and pray that she doesn't send him any more money.

I really don't like people who have elicit reasons to do people wrong. I want to get these scumbags. That's just one of the reasons that I became a licensed private investigator.
